A village osteria in the historic centre of Bardi
Pellicano was born as a village osteria in an old stone building on the road leading up to Bardi Castle. Today it is a restaurant and pizzeria that has kept the same spirit: food prepared daily, local and seasonal products, no unnecessary frills.
We prefer a few things done well: hand-rolled fresh pasta, slow-cooked meat sauces, game from the valley when in season, simple but carefully made desserts. Our cooking aims to be substantial, recognisable and comforting.

On the menu you’ll find cured meats with fried dough, crocetti pasta with braised beef sauce, potato tortelli, pappardelle and risottos with wild boar ragù, dishes based on hare, wild boar and other meats, plus a selection of traditional and creative pizzas.
We start from simple ingredients – Parmigiano, flours, vegetables and local meats – and work them into Emilian and mountain-style dishes, enriched with mushrooms and black truffles from Val Ceno whenever nature provides them.

Attention to detail and the desire to see you return.
Pellicano is very much a village place: locals share the room with hikers, bikers and families visiting the castle. The mood is informal, the tone is friendly and the goal is always the same – to make guests feel at home.
