A historic restaurant in the heart of Bardi
Pellicano lives inside a 19th-century building on the road to Bardi Castle. For generations this house has hosted a village osteria; today it is a restaurant and pizzeria that still brings together people from the valley and visitors discovering it for the first time.

The stone dining rooms, the bar counter at the entrance and the inner courtyard have long welcomed simple lunches, hot dishes and glasses of wine for villagers and travellers.
It was the place to stop on the way back from the fields, after a castle visit or during village celebrations.

Pellicano becomes a recommended stop for those visiting the castle and the village: cured meats and fried dough, crocetti pasta, wild boar dishes and dessert under the courtyard pergola.
The restaurant remains faithful to the osteria idea, with table service, generous portions and a menu tuned to the seasons.

Today Pellicano is a restaurant and pizzeria that carries on the tradition of Emilian mountain cuisine, with meat dishes, game, fresh pasta and pizza.
The style remains the same: straightforward hospitality, ingredients from the surrounding valley and the village of Bardi as the backdrop to every meal.
Everyone working at Pellicano shares the same goal: to make guests feel welcome. From the kitchen to the dining room, the atmosphere is that of a village home where the tone is warm and informal, and regulars are remembered by their favourite dishes.

Our cooking starts from what the valley offers: cured meats and Parmigiano, meats and game, mushrooms and truffles, flours and eggs that become fresh pasta. Every dish is connected to the woods, pastures and streams surrounding Bardi.
Pellicano is more than a restaurant: it is a piece of village life. Each menu tells the story of our bond with Val Ceno, with its producers and with those who choose to return to our tables year after year.
Combine a visit to Bardi Castle with lunch or dinner in our vine-covered courtyard.
